As part of their ongoing growth our client’s Process Excellence & Automation team is expanding after having already delivered a tonne of benefits through the use of RPA & Intelligent Automation. They are looking to hire an experienced Senior Blue Prism Developer.

 

What will you be doing?

 

The expectation as a Senior Developer is to engage after the analysis phase is completed, although your feedback and input will be required in earlier stages as well. You will have deep solution design and development expertise, as well as a truly strong testing mindset to achieve great quality. Strong experience in the solution deployment lifecycle and knowledge of Blue Prism infrastructure is key.

 

Day to day you will be building solutions in accordance with the standard and internal design principles, conventions and best practice, using Blue Prism and other Workflow platforms.

 

You will also be authoring detailed business & technical testing scenarios and running System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

 

On top of testing, you’ll also prepare Hypercare and deployment plans, including scheduling, infrastructure requirements, release management and reporting. Alongside this you’ll work with the rest of the Development team to triage production incidents and assisting in the resolution of them.

 

Required Skills & Experience

 

  • 3+ years of experience working with the Blue Prism platform in advanced automation concepts, holding the Professional Accreditation
  • Solid understanding of the Blue Prism platform architecture (components, connections, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience in system configuration/development, design-focused software development roles (e.g. using C#, C++, Java)
  • Excellent understanding of workflow-based logic and the ability to understand a business process from a workflow diagram
  • Strong understanding and proven experience in RESTful APIs and Webservices
  • A track record in training and mentoring individuals on development and delivery disciplines
  • Confident communicator that can explain technology to non-technical audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or related IT discipline; or equivalent
  • Consulting background and proven client facing experience will be a huge plus
