Sales Account Manager - Digital Transformation Consultant

Hybrid - Twice a week in Yorkshire

Up to £45,000

Edge Tech is thrilled to represent an Intelligent Automation Vendor who focuses on delivering Digital Transformation services and products across the public sector.

Working with the NHS, Schools, and councils, the business is looking for a Sales Account Manager, as a member of the Commercial Team.

It will be your responsibility to collaborate with both current and potential customers to gather requirements, assess their needs and propose suitable products and services the business provides. You will oversee the implementation of each project, whilst focusing on cultivating long-term relationships with the business’ customers.

This is an exciting role which will encompass both the management of existing accounts and new business opportunities, providing you with multiple routes for career progression.

This role is a hybrid twice a week in Yorkshire, with a salary up to £45,000.

The key responsibilities and accountabilities of this role will include:

  • Understand and can articulate the businesses offering, features, benefits, and the markets to which they are to be applied.
  • Identifying and qualifying the organisations matching to the business’ ideal customer profile and the company’s values.
  • Position and propose the correct product offering to match customer requirements, placing this in the context of the business case, clearly articulating the case for investment.
  • Building, reviewing, and adapting 18-month strategic plans for customers and non-customers, detailing how you will meet your objectives.
  • Developing effective meeting plans, creating and documenting appropriate agendas and objectives
  • Building new and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders across an organisation matrix.
  • Liaising with the businesses technical teams to demonstrate that the software will meet the technical requirements.
  • Working alongside the business’ technical teams, managing the implementation of projects.
  • Maintaining accurate usage records, ensuring the business is clear on the benefits and ROI being delivered.
  • Using this data to accurately forecast Licence and Services revenue growth.
  • Promoting collaboration across the sector by connecting members of the businesses community.
  • Providing feedback internally on market state, trends, and competitor activity to shape the businesses offering.
  • Managing your time effectively and prioritising to ensure tasks and projects are completed to a high quality and on time.
  • Be diligent, keeping accurate records such as bookings, contact reports, customer reviews, project plans and documentation.
